Panasonic lists most of its color laser toner under the KX-CLT prefix, with a color letter and then a generation digit. Within this range the -3 codes such as KX-CLTY3 and KX-CLTM3 are the high capacity versions, while the matching -4 codes are the lower yield option for the same printer. Working out which one you had last time is usually cheaper per page than guessing.
Panasonic Part Number Prefixes
Panasonic spreads its supplies across several prefixes, and knowing them saves a lot of searching. KX-CLT is color laser, KX-FAT covers fax cartridges such as the KX-FAT92, UG numbers run through the fax and mono laser ranges, and FQ codes belong to the copier line.
