Canon copiers need more than a toner bottle to keep printing cleanly. This section also lists consumable service parts including fuser oil under FG5-3918-050, the FB4-4536-000 fuser oil blade and the FH-73350-000 exposer lamp. Those items wear on their own cycle, and holding a spare avoids a stopped machine while a part is sourced.
Canon Part Number Prefixes
Canon uses a different code style for each type of item. Drum-and-toner assemblies for copiers carry R64 and R74 numbers, imageRUNNER machines use the GPR series, and parts beginning FB, FG or FH are internal service components. MICR versions of the copier cartridges are listed separately within the same numbering, as with R64-4012 MICR.
